Producers Guild Picks 'No Country' For Top Award; Oscar All But A Done Deal

Whew, and reality keeps returning. Remind us to never trust stupid oddmakers or rather never have them shake our in our own opinions. Remember the Producers Guild awards that nominated “There Will Be Blood,” “Michael Clayton,” “Juno,” “The Diving Bell & The Butterfly”, and “No Country For Old Men,” for Best Picture of the year? An award that typically sets the tone for the Oscar Best Picture?

“No Country For Old Men” won. We’ve been saying this was going to win for weeks. In your face to the oddsmakers that were trumpeting “Micheal Clayton” and “Atonement” (pfffffft, we knew you were high). You can’t stop what’s coming is right.
