Got a Tip?

Rihanna Set For Cameo In Seth Rogen & Jay Baruchel’s ‘The End Of The World’

nullSeth Rogen has acted in, written and produced films, but by year's end he's hoping to add "director" to that list of accomplishments, lining up a co-helming gig with Evan Goldberg on the long-awaited feature-length adaptation of his and Jay Baruchel's viral short "Jay And Seth Vs. The Apocalypse." The film has evolved into a bit of an Apatow Mafia love-fest and it's pretty much expected now to feature a vast array of cameos, sticking with Baruchel's long-standing vision for the movie.

Even this early in the process, it looks like they'll live up to their promise with "Battleship" star and all-round popstar Rihanna set to feature in some sort of role according to James Franco, who evidently declined an invitation to star in her latest music video.

"She actually asked me to be in that video, the one with the relationship that gets crazy," Franco told MTV. "I couldn't do it. But, I guess, I hope that that means there's mutual love between us [and] I think she's gonna be in the new movie that I'm doing, Seth Rogen's directorial debut. I think she has a little part in that."

And so it begins… Rogen, Baruchel, Franco, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride, Aziz Ansari and Rihanna are confirmed thus far. Who's next? "The End of the World" is forecast for June 14, 2013. [MTV]
