Can anyone survive Kettle Springs’ most diabolical inhabitant? RLJE Films/Shudder introduces a frightening new killer in “Clown In A Cornfield.” The film, based on the book by Adam Cesare, is set in a small town plagued by tragedy. One young woman and her father arrive with high hopes but soon discover its dark secrets. Things only get worse when the town’s deadly visitor decides to leave the cornfields for fresh prey. ‘Cornfield’ hails from director Eli Craig (“Tucker and Dale vs Evil,” “Little Evil”), who wrote the screenplay with Carter Blanchard (“Independence Day: Resurgence”).
Katie Douglas stars as the perceptive Quinn Maybrook. The actress was previously seen on Netflix’s “Ginny and Georgia.” Aaron Abrams co-stars as Quinn’s father, Dr. Maybrook. Carson MacCormac, Will Sasso, and Kevin Durand round out the cast.

Adapted to a screenplay by Carter Blanchard and Craig, CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD follows Quinn and her father, who have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs, hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. As the locals bicker amongst themselves and tensions boil over, a sinister, grinning figure emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, one bloody victim at a time. Welcome to Kettle Springs. The real fun starts when Frendo the clown comes out to play.
