'Run With The Hunted' Trailer: Michael Pitt Stars In A New Thriller About Kids Trained To Be Criminals

There are a number of reasons why someone might turn to a life of crime. Maybe they’re put in a bad situation where the only way out is to bend the law a bit. Or perhaps, they’re a bit villainous and don’t really understand why they can’t do whatever they want. In the film, “Run with the Hunted,” we see what happens when a young kid is brought up in a world where he is trained to be a criminal. Guess what? It doesn’t turn out well.

As seen in the trailer for “Run with the Hunted,” the new crime thriller follows the story of a young kid that is raised with a bunch of runaways and taught how to be a career criminal, pickpocketing, robbing, and whatnot. Of course, 15 years later, the young Oscar is now an adult that is willing to use guns and threats of violence to get what he wants. But his life gets turned upside down when one of the kids that he grew up with, Loux, comes to find him long after losing touch. Now, Loux makes it her mission to help Oscar and try to save what’s left of his life.

The film stars Michael Pitt, Ron Perlman, and Dree Hemingway. “Run with the Hunted” comes from writer-director John Swab. His only previous feature film is the 2016 project, “Let Me Make You a Martyr.” That film was released in 2016 and stars Marilyn Manson.

“Run with the Hunted” arrives on VOD on June 26.

Oscar, a young boy, commits a noble murder and is forced to run away from his rural hometown, leaving behind his best friend, Loux. 15 years later, he has forgotten his past and become the leader of a band of lost children. Loux takes it upon herself to find the boy who saved her life.
