You won’t have to look hard to find more of TBS’ “Search Party,” the critically acclaimed series about several 20-somethings entangled in the mysterious disappearance of a former college acquaintance. The network released the first season of the offbeat comedy in a unique way last year, with two new episodes dropping at a time for five consecutive days.
Things are changing for the second season: In addition to a much darker tone, TBS will roll out two episodes a week for five weeks, a viewing model somewhere between delayed gratification and binge-watching. But Alia Shawkat, John Early, John Reynolds and Meredith Hagner are all back, as well as executive producer Michael Showalter, and we’ll see how things move forward after the (spoiler alert) murder that took place at the end of last season.
