Should We Pretend We Aren't Going Over The Japanese TV Spot For 'Iron Man 2' Frame-By-Frame? (Plus - Two Other New Clips)

“It was like putting on an old pair of shoes,” Gwyneth Paltrow says in a new Entertainment Tonight piece regarding stepping back into her role as Pepper Potts in “Iron Man 2.”

The clip is themed around the relationship between Tony Stark and Pepper Potts and has a spattering of new material in it including Tony (Robert Downey Jr.) drawing a connection between wind farms and passing gas, a sequence where he tells her to stop flaring her nostrils. All of the clips are a few seconds long and feature playful banter similar to what they exchanged in the first film. Two international TV spots also surfaced recently, one in Japanese and the other in Spanish, plus there’s a pretty dorky interactive clip out there too.

The Japanese spot includes some new footage of Tony’s lab which he double claps to bring to life a la The Clapper. There is also a look at a panel of four different suits including the Iron Man and War Machine suits and a clip where Rhodes tells Tony “You can have your suit back” after somehow being knocked on his back into a manicured stream.

The Spanish-language clip has a few split-second shots that we haven’t seen yet, in particular a very brief look at four armored suits taking off and an overhead shot of Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) scissor-kicking someone, but for the most part it’s all footage from previous trailers.
