If we’re to believe the NYPost, who actually aren’t always off in their movie gossip news, Sienna Miller is no longer part of the “Notthingham” Robin Hood project as Maid Marion.
Apparently Russell Crowe, who is supposed to be playing both Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham (see how that’s supposed to works here) is being a tyrant on the project and firing people left, right and center and allegedly its because of the weight he put on for “Body Of Lies” that he can’t take off (this is where the story starts to devolve into suspicious bullshit).
Apparently Crowe wants director Ridley Scott fired off the project too, which we don’t buy for a second as they’ve done far too many films together for Crowe to ruin that relationship over “Notthingham.” And the reasons for Miller being fired (again weight related because Crowe apparently wants a bigger girl to not make him look like an elephant) seem highly specious, but it terms of her leaving the project? Yeah, we can buy that. Actors live off of schedules and this project has been in limbo for too long and we can believe that she had to leave for some other acting gig. The rest of it seems silly, but there’s probably some kernel of truth in there somewhere, none of it having to do with Crowe trying to backstab Scott though.
