Twins Danny Philippou & Michael Philippou have already taken YouTube by storm with their channel/moniker RackaRacka, their outlet for live-action horror comedy videos. Now the filmmaking brothers are ready for their feature debut and have the right studio backing them in A24.

Fresh off its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, “Talk To Me” boasts a premise in the brothers’ wheelhouse. The film follows a group of teenagers who get their kicks from talking to the dead through an embalmed hand, and it’s not too soon before things get, well, out of hand…
Here’s an official synopsis for “Talk To Me,” courtesy of A24:
When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.
“Talk To Me” stars Sophie Wilde, Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, and Joe Bird. Otis Dhanji, Zoe Terakes, and Chris Alosio round out the main cast.
Danny Philippou co-writes the film’s script with Bill Hinzman. Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton co-produce “Talk To Me.”
The Playlist’s critic loved “Talk To Me” out of Sundance, saying, “It’s official — RackaRacka has graduated to not just proper filmmakers but damn promising ones. But how will audiences take to it? With A24 distributing, horror hounds will take notice of this one.
