'Talk To Me' Trailer: Teens Use A Dead Person's Hand To Conjure Spirits In A24's New Horror Film

Teenagers are idiots. Can we just all agree on this? When an adult comes across an embalmed hand that is somehow haunted and can contact spirits, they’d likely get rid of it in no time. Teens, as seen in “Talk to Me,” just turn it into a party favor. What assholes.

“Talk to Me” stars Sophie Wilde, Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji, Zoe Terakes, and Chris Alosio. The film is directed by Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou.

We reviewed “Talk to Me” during Sundance, and in our review, we said, “Exploring adolescence and grief may be a tried-and-true formula for the horror genre, but ‘Talk to Me’ proves that, if done right, there’s no reason one can’t play the hits and still succeed. Given the right push or solid word-of-mouth, the film could blossom into a successful teen horror franchise that can manage to deftly deliver scares and a message to its young audience in equal measure.”

“Talk to Me” arrives in theaters on July 28. You can watch the new trailer below.

Here’s the synopsis:
