From the master of modern horror, “Teacup” is the new series from executive producer and filmmaker James Wan. Wan’s Atomic Monster shingle produces the series and is joined by first-time showrunner Ian McCulloch (known for his work on “Yellowstone”).
“Teacup” stars Yvonne Strahovski (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Scott Speedman (“Grey’s Anatomy”), and Chaske Spencer (“The English”) is set in rural Georgia and follows a group of people who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. Additional cast members include Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, and Luciano Leroux.
The first two episodes are directed by E.L. Katz, known for “The Haunting of Bly Manor” and “Channel Zero.” The first two eps will premiere on Peacock on Thursday, October 10, followed by two episodes weekly through Halloween.
