Believe it or not, Cannes has finally arrived. And tonight, the festivities kick off with the world premiere of Jim Jarmusch’s zombie comedy film, “The Dead Don’t Die.” But luckily for US film fans, we won’t have to wait long to see what the filmmaker has done with this seemingly overdone genre.

In a new red band trailer, fans will get a better look at what seems to be a subversive, and hilarious, take on the zombie film genre. Jarmusch has put together an incredible cast of actors that look like they’re bringing their comedic A-game to “The Dead Don’t Die.” And in the new trailer, the deadpan humor is on full display as the characters of a small town attempt to defend themselves from the onslaught of a zombie apocalypse.
The film boasts “the greatest zombie cast ever disassembled,” and stars Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane, Austin Butler, Luka Sabbat, and Tom Waits.
