The time has come as Mike Flanagan‘s (“Doctor Sleep”) feature adaptation of “The Life of Chuck” is finally arriving in theaters this weekend, as NEON has sent us a final trailer for the flick led by Tom Hiddleston (“Loki”) to share.
Chiwetel Ejiofor (“Doctor Strange”), Karen Gillan (“Guardians of The Galaxy”), Jacob Tremblay (“Room”), Mark Hamill (“The Long Walk,” “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”), Mia Sara, Matthew Lillard, Annalise Basso, Rahul Kohli, Molly Quinn, David Dastmalchian, Harvey Guillen, Carla Gugino, Carl Lumby, and Nick Offerman also have roles in the movie based on a short story penned by prolific author Stephen King.
An official logline for “The Life of Chuck,” courtesy of NEON:
From the hearts and minds of Stephen King and Mike Flanagan comes “The Life of Chuck,” the extraordinary story of an ordinary man. This unforgettable, genre-bending tale celebrates the life of Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz as he experiences the wonder of love, the heartbreak of loss, and the multitudes contained in all of us.
Flanagan is also working on new “Carrie” and “Exorcist” movies while also jumping into the deep end of the world of comic book characters, as he recently wrote a script for a live-action “Clayface” (a Batman villain that gained popularity after the 1990s animated series) movie at DC Studios with James Watkins set to direct.
You can view that final trailer for “The Life of Chuck” below as it’ll be gracing the big screen in limited release on June 6 and then everywhere else on June 13.
