Next month is going to be a big one for British actor Tom Holland, as he’ll have the one-two punch of Marvel/Sony‘s “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” (helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton after tackling MCU entries such as “Shang-Chi” and “Wonder Man“). Before that, he’ll be first seen in Christopher Nolan‘s cinematic take on the Greek epic “The Odyssey.” Holland is already teasing what could be coming, such as a mystery “long project he’s trying to put together with “Another Round” director Thomas Vinterberg.
Kino DK’s TikTok account posted a brief chat with Holland on a red carpet event in Amsterdam for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” where he revealed that he would be collaborating with Vinterberg, but stopped short of dishing any concrete details.

“I love Thomas Vinterberg. We’re working on another project together, and it’s very exciting…So, I’m really excited to be able to work with him on a long-format project. I can’t share what it is yet, too soon,” the spoiler-prone actor revealed without giving way too much about what it could be as it’s only “early days.”
We’re extremely excited by the pairing and cannot wait to learn more to see if this will be a feature or a television series. We mention television being on the table because Thomas Vinterberg was most recently behind the high-profile Netflix series, “Kennedy,” which has Michael Fassbender leading an impressive ensemble and would explore the life of Joe Kennedy Sr. (the patriarch of the iconic family, father of slain politicians John and Robert Kennedy). This would mark a reunion of sorts, as Vinterberg had previously worked with Holland on an ad for Prada Paradigme from last year.
You can see that exchange with Holland below, as “The Odyssey” arrives in theaters on July 17, and the equally anticipated Spidey sequel debuts on the big screen on July 31.
