'Bourne' Spin-Off Series 'Treadstone' Casts Two Leads As Production Is Set To Begin In 2019

Deadline reports that Jeremy Irvine and Brian J. Smith have been cast as two of the leads for the upcoming action-thriller TV series “Treadstone.” Irvine is probably best known for his role in “War Horse,” but was recently seen in the musical hit ‘Mamma Mia 2.’ Smith is no stranger to TV, having worked on the recently-finished Netflix series “Sense8” and the upcoming “World on Fire.” He’ll also be seen in the upcoming “L.A. Confidential” reboot that will be seen on CBS.

There’s no release date set for the spin-off series but USA Network expects that production will begin sometime in 2019. Because we all know how well (or bad) it turned out with Renner’s “The Bourne Legacy.”
