Longtime editor William Goldenberg has already had a storied Hollywood career, including an Oscar Best Film Editing win for 2012’s “Argo.” But “Unstoppable” proves that Goldenberg’s future may be in directing, as his feature directorial debut has gotten a lot of notice since its world premiere at TIFF last September.
Based on a true story, “Unstoppable” tells the inspirational journey of wrestler Anthony Robles, who beat the odds in becoming a DI NCAA champion.

Unstoppable is the inspiring true story of Anthony Robles who was born with one leg but whose indomitable spirit and unbreakable resolve empowered him to defy the odds and pursue his dreams. With the unwavering love and support of his devoted mother Judy and the encouragement of his coaches, Anthony fights through adversity to earn a spot on the Arizona State Wrestling team. But it will demand everything he has, physically and mentally, to achieve his ultimate quest to become an NCAA Champion.
Along with Jerome and Lopez, “Unstoppable” also stars Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Anthony Robles, and Don Cheadle.
Goldenberg directs a script by Eric Champnella and Alex Harris and John Hindman, based on the book by Robles and Austin Murphy. Ben Affleck leads producers on the film, with Elaine Goldswmith-Thomas, Robles, David Crockett, Andy Fraser, and Gary Lewis.
“Unstoppable” will be available to stream on Prime Video in January 16. However, before that, Amazon MGM Studios will host special free screenings of the film in the top 85 US markets on January 8. For more information and to sign up directly for tickets go to Amazon MGM’s screenings website.
