A quirky movie about zombies and the apocalypse? Yep, it’s no surprise that the first clips from "Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse" are arriving just in time for San Diego Comic Con.
The film is yet another high concept comedy/horror movie about the undead in the event you haven’t had enough of those, and the title alone should tip you off about the basic premise. Here’s the official synopsis: Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world’s most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they’ll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead.

One one hand, Tye Sheridan is the kind of rising actor who could make this effort fairly interesting, but the supporting cast of Logan Miller, Halston Sage, Sarah Dumont, Patrick Schwarzenegger and David Koechner is far less exciting. Meanwhile, director Christopher Landon is best known for his work across various "Paranormal Activity" sequels, so take that for what it’s worth.
“Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse” lands in theaters on October 30th. Watch below.
