If sex is like a drug, what happens when you get addicted? How do you navigate relationships, and keep your life in order? Those are the questions that power “The Kids Are All Right” writer Stuart Blumberg‘s directorial debut “Thanks For Sharing,” a dramedy about that chronicles the struggles of a longtime sex addict who is eager not to be defined by his disease.
And in these new clips for the movie, we see both ends of the tonal spectrum of the movie. On the one hand, we see the newly dating Mark Ruffalo and Gwyneth Paltrow already having the kinds of discussions that arrive down the road in the a long term relationship, not early on when it should be nothing but sex and fun. Meanwhile, sex addict duo Josh Gad and Pink find another way to use their bodies that allows them to keep their clothes on. All told, it’s an interesting premise, but as our review last year out of TIFF noted, it doesn’t quite come together (ha).
“Thanks For Sharing” gets into bed in limited release starting on September 20th. Watch below.
