Watch: New Clips From 'Rust And Bone' & 'The Sapphires'

nullWhile these films are yet to hit U.S. theaters, they are rolling out overseas, and so until you can pull up with a bag of popcorn to check it out yourself, here are clips to keep you sated for now.

First up is Jacques Audiard's breathtaking "Rust And Bone," which in case you haven't been reading us lately, is a film that has bowled (most) of us over here at The Playlist. Marion Cotillard and Matthias Schoenaerts take the lead roles as an unlikely pair who draw closer when the former loses her legs in a horrific accident. This clip, from the beginning of the movie, is a peek at their characters meetcute (if you can call it that), with Schoenaerts escorting Cotillard back home after she gets mixed up in a fight back at the club. It's also a masterclass is establishing the background of a character in only a few brief moments.

Meanwhile, Chris O'Dowd continues to earn strong notices for his turn in the Aussie feel good flick "The Sapphires." While we had our issues with this one, he's an undeniable delight as the boozy slacker leader of a girl group who head to Vietnam to sing for the troops. This generous portion of the movie (via DigitalSpy) finds him goofing off and shedding some wisdom, with the leader of the group played by Deborah Mailman.

"Rust And Bone" opens in limited release on November 23rd, while "The Sapphires" will land sometime in 2013. Watch below.
