For a while there, we forgot that the Pixar that gave us "Up," "The Incredibles," and "Monsters Inc." existed. With a slate of upcoming movies that is (admittedly) focused on sequels, it seemed that the animation studio had their brain taken over by Disney. But for those who want to remember the glory days of yore and perhaps still to come from Pixar, welcome to the new trailer for "The Inside Out."
The movie arrives with a rather clever concept, centering not around characters so much as their feelings — Joy, Disgust, Fear, Sadness, Anger — particularly as it relates to one eleven-year-old girl, Riley. This new look at the movie is really clever, showing the warring emotions between Riley and her parents, during the kind of dinner conversation we’ve all had with our parents. It’s pretty fun stuff and a nice sampler of what’s to come.
"Inside Out" arrives on June 19th. Watch below.
