The champagne bottles are empty, the limos are getting cleaned, the tuxedos are being returned and the sun is rising the morning after of the Oscars. But before the winners got to head backstage and celebrate their victory, they had to run the press gauntlet.
Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Alfonso Cuaron, Jared Leto, Lupita Nyong’o, and Matthew McConaughey (representing the five major categories) stopped for questions with Oscars in hand, with most feeling pretty jovial and enduring the last of rather tepid questions from the international press. Someone who won in a different way was Jennifer Lawrence, who after falling going up to collect her Oscar last year, tumbled again getting on the red carpet in 2014. Oh J Law.
