Watch: 'Predators' International Trailer Raises Goosebumps

We haven’t had our morning cup of coffee yet, but after watching the international trailer
for “Predators,” we’re not sure we need it anymore.

Dropping the mystery and atmospherics of the film’s domestic trailer, this spot drops us right into the action. It quickly sets up the premise of these group of killers crash landing on the planet, and then starts ripping into new (and very bloody) clips of the action, and frankly, it looks exactly like the popcorn munching fun we were hoping for. Overall, with bloody carcasses hanging from trees, heat vision seeking predators and swampy, sweaty tension running throughout, it looks like director Nimrod Antal has done the franchise justice. We were always a little uncertain how the likes of Adrien Brody and Laurence Fishburne would fit into this sort of genre film, but it looks like their chops elevate the film to some degree. However, Topher Grace continues to be noticeably absent from any spots for the film, which makes us wonder about the performance from the “That ’70s Show” actor.

“Predators” starring Adrien Brody, Laurence Fisburne, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins, Mahershalalhazbaz Ali and UFC Fighter Oleg Taktarov will open in theaters on July 9th.
