Watch: Trailer For Omnibus '7 Days In Havana' Plus First Look At Josh Hutcherson, Daniel Bruhl & Emir Kusturica In The Film

nullWith Paris and New York already getting their big screen valentines in two omnibus movies, and with Syndey brewing one of their own, Havana is going to get their time to shine with "7 Days In Havana." And to get a bit of sun soaked flavor before summer is here in full force, the first trailer has arrived.

A tremendously strong batch of directors have come together for this one — Benicio Del Toro, Laurent Cantet ("The Class"), Gaspar Noé ("Enter the Void"), Pablo Trapero ("Carancho"), Elia Suleiman, Julio Medem ("Sex And Lucia") and Juan Carlos Tabio — in a film that unlike some of the films that have come before, will see characters recur in everyone's short films. Josh Hutcherson and Daniel Bruhl are the two starrier names that appear (though, keep an eye out for Emir Kusturica as well) in the pic penned by Cuban novelist Leonardo Padura that will tell the story of the day-to-day life in Havana through the eyes of tourists visiting. Here's what they'll all be about:

Del Toro's "El Yuma" will be a docudrama look at a U.S. tourist's first 24 hours in Cuba; Medem's "La tentadión de Cecilia" will focus on a love triangle; Trapero's "Jam Session" tracks an actor who arrives in Havana to receive a prize; Suleiman's "Diary Of A Foreigner" will find him taking the lead role and wandering through Havana, waiting for something to happen; Cantet's "La Fuente" chronicles a family's offering to the ancient religion of Yoruba; Tabio's "Dulce armago" looks at Cubans' daily trials and joys while Noe's "Ritual" (unsprisingly) will follow an exorcism.

All told, it looks like a lovely and lively picture. Check out the trailer below along with some pics and the poster for the movie. [Twitch/Kinopoisk] nullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnull
