The latest edition of the Toronto International Film Festival is officially a month away, and an already packed program just got even bigger. This morning, TIFF revealed a slew of new additions, including Martin McDonagh‘s “Wild Horse Nine,” Guy Nattiv‘s “The Liberation,” Małgorzata Szumowska and Michał Englert‘s “The Idiot(s),” and Werner Herzog‘s “Bucking Fastard.” This brings the current tally of selections to an impressive group of films.

Previously announced world premieres include Chris Rock‘s “Misty Green,” Takashi Miike‘s “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo,” Peter Farrelly‘s “I Play Rocky,” Bassam Tarq‘s “Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother,” David and Nathan Zellner‘s “Alpha Gang,” Rachel Morrison‘s “Love of Your Life,” and Sian Heder‘s “Being Heumann,” among others.
While a staggering number of anticipated films will screen in some capacity in Toronto, notable features such as Tony Gilroy‘s “Behemoth!,” Todd McCarthy‘s “A Statement,” Alejandro G. Iñárritu‘s “Digger,” and James Gray‘s “Paper Tiger” are passing on a trip to Canada.
