Guillermo del Toro’s Top Ten Films Of 2017

While it’s unranked, it’s not a big surprise to see smash hit “It” on here, as Dolan positively adored the horror film (see below). Meanwhile, his taste for auteurs runs strong with selections by Guillermo del Toro, Steven Spielberg, Luca Guadagnino and Yorgos Lanthimos. The director also enjoyed the pitch black comedy of “Three Billboard Outside Ebbing, Missouri.” Meanwhile, we’re glad to see the terrific “Wind River” get some attention while being otherwise ignored all awards season long.
