Zack Snyder Gifts His Faithful With New ‘Justice League’ Images & An Explanation Why He’ll Never Watch The Theatrical Cut

For Christmas, it appears that Zack Snyder had plenty of presents to give his #ReleaseTheSnyderCut faithful. Over the past few days, not only did the filmmaker release a hoodie (pronouncing his version of the film “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”), but he also spoke with fans and released even more images from his mythical version of the film that fans have been frothing at the mouth over since 2017.

While the new images are pretty par for the course, featuring out of context scenes done in Snyder’s patented black and white still imagery, the information he shared as he answered fan questions does shine a bit more light on what we could expect if we ever get the Snyder-approved version of “Justice League.”

First, Snyder did confirm that the “Justice League” cut that he has been teasing for two years now is still not 100% ready to go.

“Film is still not 100 percent finished still some stuff I want to do as with every film I’ve made not sure what difference it makes as to the finished level of the film but all the hard creative choices are done,” he shared on Vero (via Twitter).

In another answer, he doesn’t give information about Hal Jordan, aka Green Lantern, but does confirm that the character would have been at least teased in “Justice League.” And when it comes to the actual theatrical cut of the film, Snyder explains why he hasn’t seen the film yet and probably never will.

“A lot of reasons…people who I trust who have seen the theatrical cut and the true cut have told me never to watch it,” Snyder explained.

Of course, for the masses of fans that have come together over the last two years in support of Snyder’s vision are eating up this news like there’s no tomorrow. With rumors of a possible release and the filmmaker constantly updating fans with new images and answers, it doesn’t appear that 2020 is going to mark the end of #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.
