Next month, Edgar Wright will unleash what could be his most ambitious movie yet with “Baby Driver.” The film is headed to SXSW for its World Premiere, and it’ll be the first taste audiences have of his music-powered movie, which makes it clear right from the start it’s going to pump up the volume.

The writer/director has shared the first page of his script for the movie which brings together Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Jon Bernthal, Eiza González, Jon Hamm, and Jamie Foxx for the story that follows a getaway driver who has to deal with the fallout from a doomed heist. And as page one makes clear in no uncertain terms: “Every scene in this film is driven by music.” We can’t wait to see the soundtrack and playlist for this one (and god bless the music supervisors who probably had a ton of tunes to clear).
“Baby Driver” opens on August 11th. [EW]
