AYT Says Goodbye, Comes Full Circle With A Chat On Nicolas Winding Refn’s ‘Too Old To Die Young’ [Adjust Your Tracking Podcast]

On this episode of Adjust Your Tracking, Joe and I realize just why it’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. That’s right, dear listeners. This. Is. The. End. AYT is closing up shop after more than 200 episodes (all of our pre-Playlist back issue shows are archived for free here).

We start things off by explaining our absence on the podcast since March, and why we’re moving on. It’s mostly just time to try something new, and, in fact, Joe will be launching a brand new show soon (that I will help produce and edit). Look for an announcement on that one soon. While we’re slightly melancholy about this change—we’ve been doing the show for more than eight years—we, of course, find time for plenty of movie discussion, and that brings the passion out in full force.

Recent exciting titles “Midsommar,” “Crawl” and “The Last Black Man in San Francisco” come up at times. But the majority of our focus is on the Amazon Prime series “Too Old To Die Young” which goes nicely with our usual obsession with the future of how we will watch movies. There’s just not been discussion out there about Nicolas Winding Refn‘s rather awesome 13-hour movie or TV show (you decide), so hopefully, we pick up some of the slack. Near the end of the episode, Joe discusses his new podcast idea. We hope you follow us into this new venture. If you like AYT, I’m confident this new one will be right up your alley.
