Got a Tip?

Bryce Dallas Howard Joins ‘I’m With Cancer’; Summit Snags U.S. Rights

Seth Rogen’s dramedy (the formerly and now untitled) “I’m With Cancer” has spent the last month of or so getting its final pieces to into place. In early January, “The Wackness” director Jonathan Levine signed on replacing Nicole Holofcener who left the project last fall, while Anna Kendrick joined the cast that includes James McAvoy and Rogen (in supporting role, he’s also producing with writing partner Evan Goldberg).

And now, a couple more puzzle pieces have come together. Bryce Dallas Howard has just joined the cast while Summit Entertainment have snagged the North American rights to the film. The film is set to go in front of cameras this month in Vancouver.

The film is based on Will Reisner’s comedic novel about a twenty-something who becomes stricken with the disease. As far as we can tell, the novel doesn’t appear to be on anyone’s schedule but perhaps it will be released to coincide with the film?
