Check Out This VHS-Inspired ‘Bumblebee’ Trailer & Enter To Win Your Own Copy Of The Film On 4K UHD

Last year, Paramount seemingly struck gold with its latest “Transformers” film “Bumblebee.” While the previous five entries in the franchise were massive financial successes, “Bumblebee” is the first of the series that truly felt like the Robots in Disguise had returned in all their ‘80s glory. And it’s fitting then, that Paramount has released a new VHS-inspired trailer for the film, harkening back to the times when many of us nerds were rabid for all things “Transformers.”

And in honor of the upcoming Blu-ray/DVD/4K release of “Bumblebee,” we are happy to offer our readers a chance to take home a copy of the film for themselves.

For those not familiar with the film, and why a VHS trailer is such a fun idea, “Bumblebee” takes place in the ‘80s and follows a young girl on her 18th birthday that comes into possession of the titular Transformer character. The film is filled with plenty of that ‘80s nostalgia that, bringing a John Hughes-style heart to the “Transformers” film franchise for the first time in a very, very long time.

CYBERTRON has fallen. When OPTIMUS PRIME sends BUMBLEBEE to defend Earth, his journey to become a hero begins. Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld), a teenager trying to find her place in the world, discovers and repairs the battle-scarred robot, who’s disguised as a Volkswagen Beetle. As the DECEPTICONS hunt down the surviving AUTOBOTS with the help of a secret agency led by Agent Burns (John Cena), BUMBLEBEE and Charlie team up to protect the world.
