The MCU‘s Phase 5 concludes next year with two films, and Marvel Studios hopes both of them will capitalize on the brand’s resurgence after this past summer’s “Deadpool & Wolverine.” First up on the 2025 calendar? “Captain America: Brave New World,” which just had a new special look debut today.

The brief one-minute clip has a bit of new footage from the latest installment of the “Captain America” franchise, which sees Anthony Mackie‘s Sam Wilson officially take on the mantle. His first mission as Cap? Discover the mastermind behind an international incident that’s thrown the American government into chaos.
Here’s an official synopsis for “Captain America: Brave New World,” courtesy of Marvel:
Anthony Mackie returns as the high-flying hero Sam Wilson, who’s officially taken up the mantle of Captain America. After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.
Along with Mackie, “Brave New World” also stars Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, and Carl Lumbly, with Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross and the Red Hulk. Julius Onah directs the film, with Kevin Feige and Nate Moore producing. Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth serve as executive producers.
