Oh, maybe he gets that rage from everyday events like a director of photography walking through the background of a shot on “Terminator Salvation.”
Man, TMZ has the audio that some sneaky person (probably someone from the ‘T4’ sound department) managed to record and man Bale goes BALLISTIC. Apparently Bale — going off the rails of his crazy train — on DP Shane Hurlbut happened a few months ago. It’s full of F-Bombs, exasperated anger and NSFW.
TMZ describes the event:
“During a scene, Shane Hurlbut, director of cinematography, screwed up a shot — at least in Christian’s mind. We’re told Bale went wild, screaming “I will kick your ass” along with some other choice remarks. Several hundred people — including Military Police — heard the outburst, which was described as “intense.”
Umm, yeah, just a tiny bit. Suffice to say someone on the ‘Terminator’ sound department probably got fired about five minutes ago. As one of our film set friends says, “that’s very typical behavior from someone under high stress with little sleep, possibly on several medications, god knows what else going on at the same time of trying to work.” They do say he was exhausted. We personally love Bale, but it’s just kind of too funny not to post [ed. no it’s not funny to freak out on a person on a job, but to just hear the shit streaming out of his mouth]. We said it once, we’ll say it again. Do not fuck with Christian Bale.
