In addition to being a really great actor, Wagner Moura is also a filmmaker in his own right. Not only has he directed episodes of “Narcos,” but he also helmed the 2019 film, “Marighella.” And for his second feature, “Last Night at the Lobster,” it appears he’s landed an impressive cast.
According to Deadline, Wagner Moura is set to star in and direct “Last Night at the Lobster.” Joining Moura in the cast are none other than Sofia Carson, Brian Tyree Henry, and Elisabeth Moss. The film is based on the novel by Stewart O’Nan, and it follows the story of a restaurant manager at a tipping point in his life.
Here’s the synopsis:
Manny, manager of a chain seafood restaurant, arrives to work a week before Christmas to discover that the restaurant is closing down and he must choose who to take with him to the next location. As the day wears on, the team get snowed in by a blizzard so they decide to enjoy their one final night at The Lobster.
