'End Of Sentence' Exclusive Clip: John Hawkes & Logan Lerman Don't See Eye To Eye In This Family Drama

In honor of “End of Sentence” arriving on VOD later this week, we’re happy to give our readers an exclusive look at a clip from the new family drama. The film tells the story of an estranged father and son that must come together for a trip to Ireland to help spread the ashes of the deceased mother. And in the new clip from the film, you can see that the relationship between the Father, Frank, and his son, Sean, is strained beyond belief. Not even the father’s well-wishes and kind gestures when he meets his son after Sean is released from prison are enough to begin the long path to a functional relationship.

Here’s the synopsis for the film:

After being widowed, Frank Fogle reluctantly embarks on a journey to honor his wife’s last wish of spreading her ashes in a remote lake in her native Ireland and a promise of taking his estranged son, Sean, along for the trip. Between a disconcerting Irish wake, the surfacing of an old flame, the pick up of a pretty hitchhiker and plenty of unresolved issues, the journey becomes a little more than father and son had bargained for.

“End of Sentence” stars Logan Lerman, John Hawkes, Sarah Bolger, and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson. The film is directed by Elfar Adalsteins, who is making his feature directorial debut with the new drama. “End of Sentence” arrives on VOD on May 29.
