Sadly, one of the tragic aspects of working in the psychiatric field is when a patient dies by suicide. It happens and is something that mental health workers have to experience all too often. Luckily, not every situation plays out as it does in the upcoming thriller, “Every Breath You Take.”
As seen in the trailer for “Every Breath You Take,” the film tells the story of a psychiatrist that has one of his patients die by suicide. As if that wasn’t tragic enough, he is then confronted by the patient’s brother that is trying to figure out how to deal with his grief. Unfortunately for the psychiatrist, the way the brother deals with his pain is by stalking and conning the doctor’s family and potentially tearing them apart.
The feature stars Casey Affleck, Sam Claflin, Michelle Monaghan, Veronica Ferres, and India Eisley. That’s a hell of a cast for the psychological thriller, and a special shout out to Claflin, who looks to be reveling in the chance to play a truly unhinged person. “Every Breath You Take” is directed by Vaughn Stein, who previously helmed features such as “Terminal” and “Inheritance.”
