Next month sees the arrival of new A24 movie coming to the big screen as Celine Song‘s “Past Lives” follow-up, “Materialists” boasts a lead actor lineup featuring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal (the in-demand actor is hotter than a pistol) and the studio has shared a final trailer for the pic that focuses on another love triangle.
Johnson plays a professional matchmaker living in New York City who has the ultimate dilemma, choosing between two men played by heartthrobs Evans and Pascal, such is life.

Song’s debut film “Past Lives,” the romantic drama focusing on two Korean childhood sweethearts meeting up as adults in New York City, was so impressive that the movie ended up walking away with two Academy Award nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Motion Picture of the Year, the latter had many scratching their heads why Song didn’t land a Best Director nod as well.
An official synopsis for the “Materialists,” written and directed by Song:
A young, ambitious New York City matchmaker finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex.
Pascal is as busy as it gets this summer as he has more projects coming soon as this July sees his big MCU reboot “Fantastic Four: The First Steps” launch a new era of Marvel‘s first family (set to appear in “Avengers: Doomsday” as well), and co-stars with Joaquin Phoenix in Ari Aster‘s rural western “Eddington” (you can read The Playlist’s Cannes Film Festival review for that movie right here).
You can watch that final trailer for “Materialists” below as the A24 pic hits theaters on June 13.
