Variety reports that Jon Favreau will step back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with an appearance in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Playing Happy Hogan — Tony Stark/Iron Man’s best bud and Head of Security at Stark Industries — the character appeared in the “Iron Man” trilogy (the first two of which were also directed by Favreau), but nowhere else in the Marvel-verse. That changes with ‘Homecoming,’ though just how extensive Happy Hogan’s role will be, we’ll have to wait and see (though, it’s probably safe to say it’ll be minor).
