‘Kid Who Would Be King’ Exclusive Track: Here’s A Sneak Peek At The Score For The Upcoming Fantasy Film

There are plenty of reasons to be excited for the upcoming fantasy film, “The Kid Who Would Be King.” First, you have the fact that the story follows a modern-day spin on the classic King Arthur tale. And of course, probably the biggest draw for film fans is the fact that the film marks the return for director Joe Cornish after his incredible “Attack the Block.” But there’s also an aspect of the film that is sure to make people happy that we hope to highlight today – the score.

In honor of the film hitting theaters, paired with the soundtrack’s release, we’re honored to have the opportunity to give our readers a first chance to check out an exclusive track from the score of “The Kid Who Would Be King.” As you can hear in the track “Arthur’s Theme,” the music for the film hopes to mix the classic fantasy-esque music that people are probably familiar with, but with the added modern, electronic touch.

The music for “The Kid Who Would Be King” comes from the Electric Wave Bureau (EWB). The EWB is a London-based collaborative artist collective dedicated to composing and sourcing music for film, television, radio and online (recent projects include ‘Paddington 1 & 2’ and ‘Broken’).

In our review of the film, we called Cornish’s latest work an “instant classic.” So, what better way to brace yourself for what will no doubt be a great fantasy film than be listening to an amazing track from the upcoming score?

“The Kid Who Would Be King” hits theaters on January 25. The soundtrack, released by Milan Records, arrives the same day.
