Well, Sam Elliott, having a great year given his Oscar buzz for “A Star Is Born,” is the one playing the man in question. One thing that is certain, though, is that we’ll get a great performance from Sam Elliott. He’s a performer that has been churning out scene-stealing supporting performances for decades, elevating everything he’s appeared in on the big and small screen. Now, he’s getting more opportunities to headline a picture. Just last year, he carried the rather unsung character study “The Hero.” Now, he gets to flex his action hero muscles with this film.

If Sam Elliott starring isn’t enough to excite you, Douglas Trumbull will be doing the special effects. Oscar winner Douglas Trumbull is the mastermind behind the VFX of classics like “Blade Runner” and “2001: A Space Odyssey.” Also, the film’s supporting cast includes names like Aidan Turner, Caitlin Fitzgerald, and Ron Livingston.

RLJE Films will release “The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot” in theaters, VOD and Digital HD on February 8.
