We all already know that “Terminator Salvation” director McG is a shameless huckster shill who will do anything to get a crowd amped and sell his film, but yesterday’s appearance at the WonderCon event in San Franciso was bit much. As briefly reported yesterday, McG is also fighting the Warner Bros. over a rating for ‘Salvation.’ He wants an R-Rating, they want PG-13. But over what exactly? Wanton topless apparently.
From Vulture: “Do you want to see Moon[Bloodgood] ‘s boobs in the picture?” McG reportedly asked an all-male [WonderCon] crowd yesterday while actually seated next to the poor actress. Whooping and hollering naturally ensued.
She apparently later said the in-question topless scene wasn’t gratuitous, but either way, you gotta hand it to McG, he knows how to exploit treat his female actors and work a crowd. What a class act.
