Will Iris and Isaac’s first romantic getaway become their last? “Oh, Hi!” sees the couple face a weekend full of problems. Most concerning for Iris is her partner’s doubts about their relationship, something she is willing to fix at all costs. ‘Oh’ hails from writer and director Sophie Brooks. This comedy is the filmmaker’s second feature-length project after 2017’s “The Boy Downstairs.”

Brooks assembles an accomplished cast, with two outstanding leads as the beleaguered couple. Molly Gordon and Logan Lerman star as Iris and Isaac. Their work in “Oh, Hi!” drew positive reviews during its Sundance Film Festival premiere. “If this were the golden age of rom-coms, Gordon and Lerman would make for a perfect pairing in an earnest genre outing,” wrote The Playlist’s Marshall Shaffer.
Gordon is a familiar name for “The Bear” viewers, portraying Carmy’s love interest, Claire Dunlap. Her credits outside the series include “Theater Camp” and “Shiva Baby.” Lerman is another sought-after actor. He starred in the Prime Video series “Hunters” but is better known for playing the popular literary character Percy Jackson in two films. Geraldine Viswanathan and John Reynolds also star in “Oh, Hi!”
The film’s official synopsis:
Iris (Gordon) and Isaac’s (Lerman) first romantic weekend getaway as a couple goes awry. Convinced that he’s just confused, Iris goes to extreme lengths to prove they are meant to be together.
