'Me Time' Trailer: Kevin Hart & Mark Wahlberg Are Reconnected Best Friends With Too Much Time On Their Hands

When a stay-at-home dad finds himself with some “me time” for the first time in years while his wife and kids are away, he reconnects with his former best friend for a wild weekend that nearly upends his life. What do they get up to? Lots of shenanigans and trouble, of course. That’s the simple, but potentially effective premise for “Me Time,” a new Netflix comedy starring Kevin Hart, Mark Wahlberg, and Regina Hall.

Clearly it’s a vehicle for Wahlberg and Hart to play off one another, their disparate energies, and probably a whole lot of improv, but when the chemistry is right, that’s what makes a lot of these films really entertaining.

The film also includes the talents of Luis Gerardo Mandez, Jimmy O. Yang, John Amos, Anna Maria Horsford, Andrew Santino, Deborah S. Craig, Naomi Ekperigin, Drew Droege, Ilia Isorels Paulino, Tahj Mowry, Carlo Rota, Che Tafari, and Amentii Sledge, that’s quite the cast.

Written and directed by John Hamburg, producers and exec producers on the film include Hamburg, Kevin Hart, Bryan Smiley, plus Lauren Hennessey, Mark Moran, Patricia Braga, and Joe Gatta.
