The winner of today’s “Weirdest Title” award goes to an apparent buddy crime comedy, titled “Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice.” However, despite the mouthful title, this is a project you should keep an eye on, especially as it is slated to feature two great actors in lead roles.
According to Deadline, James Marsden is joining Vince Vaughn in the cast of the upcoming crime comedy, “Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice.” The film is set to be written and directed by BenDavid Grabinski (coming off his well-received “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” animated series). Again, we don’t know too much about the plot, but the story is described as buddy action comedy that takes place in the criminal underworld. Or something to that effect.

Vaughn is a well-known comedy veteran. Basically just look at some of the most beloved comedies of the ‘00s and you’ll see Vaughn’s face plastered on the cover.
Marsden, on the other hand, is a bit more of a comedy newbie. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t done comedies in the past, but many of them are family films or rom-coms. He’s never had to carry a big comedy film on his own. That said, he recently starred in “Jury Duty” and absolutely killed it, so there’s no denying that he can be a funny performer if needed.
It’s still way too earn to know when we might see “Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice” show up in theaters. The film is being produced by 20th Century Studios.
