“Reacher” star Alan Ritchson is making his big push to become an action film guy after his military sci-fi survival pic “War Machine” at Netflix saw some decent buzz and is now heading to theaters this summer with “Motor City.”
Ritchson leads the cast of the 1970s-set actioner taking place in Detroit that also features exciting talent such as Shailene Woodley (“Ferrari,” “Paradise”), Pablo Schreiber (“Den of Thieves,” “Halo”), Ben Foster (“Hell or High Water”), Ben McKenzie (“Gotham”), Lionel Boyce (“Project Hail Mary,” “The Bear”), and Amar Chadha-Patel (“Willow,” “The Creator”).

Potsy Ponciroli, known for the Western thriller “Old Henry,” directs “Motor City” from a script penned by Chad St. John.
