Got a Tip?

New Photos Of Benedict Cumberbatch & Keira Knightley In ‘The Imitation Game’

Imitation Game

If you’re on Oscar watch, just dreading the summer season, what fall film are you anticipating the most? Well, it could be “The Imitation Game” starring Benedict Cumberbatch. Directed by Morten Tyldum (the Norwegian film director behind “Headhunters” starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), the movie is about the brilliant English mathematician and logician, Alan Turing, who helped crack and decipher Nazi codes during World War II who was later prosecuted for being gay (though whether that’ll be charted in the movie is unclear). Either way, it’s pretty complex material for Cumberbatch to sink his teeth into.

“He’s an exceptional man,” Cumberbatch told EW this week. He prepped for the role by perfecting Turing’s stuttering cadences and studying his correspondence with the mother of his high school crush. “I hope this film does justice to this unsung hero.” The supporting cast is great too and features Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Mark Strong, Rory Kinnear, Charles Dance, Allen Leech and Matthew Beard.

And the movie has a very friendly November 21st release date via The Weinstein Company, so you know they’ll be pimping it hard. EW has unveiled two new images which you can see above and below.
