Directed by Mario Van Peebles, and featuring Tom Sizemore, Thomas Jane, Matt Lanter, and James Remar, the movie is fairly shoddy-looking war picture, based on a true story, though presented in the trappings that we’ve come to associate with Nic Cage of late. It tells the tale of the titular USS Indianapolis, and the men who have to fight to survive in the open sea during WWII, when their ship is sunk by the Japanese.
“USS Indianapolis” is available today via premium VOD, or if you really insist on seeing it on the big screen, you can do just that starting on November 11th.
