After years of public feuding, Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher finally reunited Oasis for the blockbuster Oasis Live ’25 tour. The new documentary “Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger” offers an intimate look at the comeback, including the brothers’ first joint interview in more than 20 years.
Created by Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders,” “A Thousand Blows”) and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (“Shut Up and Play the Hits,” “Meet Me in the Bathroom”), the film follows the legendary British band throughout its sold-out reunion tour.
Rather than focusing exclusively on the concerts, “Don’t Look Back In Anger” combines rehearsal, backstage, and onstage footage with the experiences of the fans who waited more than 15 years to see Oasis perform together again. According to the official synopsis, the documentary explores the emotional impact of the reunion and what the band’s music continues to mean to multiple generations around the world.
“Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger” was produced by Magna Studios and presented by Sony Music Vision in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK. Sam Bridger (“Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now”) and Guy Heeley (“Locke”) produced the film.
The creative team also includes cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos (“Belfast,” “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”), editors George Cragg and Martina Zamolo, and Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather (“Top Gun: Maverick”) and Tarn Willers (“The Zone of Interest”).
Disney will release the documentary in theaters and select IMAX locations on September 11, with limited IMAX Early Access screenings scheduled for September 9 in the U.S. and Canada. The film will stream on Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S. and, later this year, exclusively on Disney+ internationally.
