Can Slough House survive a new set of dangers? “Slow Horses” returns for a highly anticipated sixth season. Upcoming episodes see its central team dealing with the unrelenting consequences of Diana Taverner’s actions. Co-executive producer Gaby Chiappe adapts the six-episode season from Mick Herron’s novels. Adam Randall directs, previously helming several well-received episodes.
Academy Award winner Gary Oldman returns as Jackson Lamb. The actor’s impressive career ranges from beloved genre hits like “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” to celebrated dramas such as “Darkest Hour.” He is once again joined by a number of respected performers for ‘Horses.’ Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Pryce, and Hugo Weaving co-star this season. BAFTA TV award winner Lenny Rush joins the cast. Rush previously appeared in episodes of “Doctor Who” and “ A Woman of Substance.”

“This darkly funny espionage drama follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 due to their career-ending mistakes. Led by their brilliant but irascible leader, the notorious Jackson Lamb (Academy Award winner Sir Gary Oldman), they navigate the espionage world’s smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces.”
Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Julian Stevens, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Adam Randall, Gail Mutrux, Douglas Urbanski, and series star Oldman serve as executive producers on “Slow Horses.” The season premiere hits Apple TV on September 16.
