'The Owners' Trailer: Maisie Williams Finds Out The Hard Way What Happens When You Rob Evil Senior Citizens

If you spend a lot of time watching horror films, there are a few things that become readily apparent. Firstly, old Victorian mansions are never good. And second, old people are fucking terrifying. Sadly, for the young people in “The Owners,” they stumbled into an old mansion that is owned by creepy old people. Idiots.

As seen in the trailer for “The Owners,” the film stars Maisie Williams as a woman that joins up with her boyfriend and a couple of other guys in an attempt to rob a mansion that they know has a safe full of cash. Best part is the fact the house is owned by a seemingly sweet elderly couple that shouldn’t put up much of a fight. Clearly, these kids don’t watch horror movies. As you might expect, shit goes sideways in a hurry, as the young people realize that they got themselves involved in something they shouldn’t have and tried to rob some seriously evil old people.

Joining Williams in the cast are Sylvester McCoy, Jake Curran, Ian Kenny, Andrew Ellis, and Rita Tushingham. The film is directed by Julius Berg, who co-wrote it alongside Matthieu Gompel. “The Owners” marks the feature directorial debut for Berg, who has previously worked on a number of TV series.
