Jeremy Strong Showcases His “Bean Method” To Ben & Casey Affleck In Hilarious New Dunkin’ Super Bowl Ad

It is the time of the year when all sorts of wild Super Bowl ads drop as the much-watched final football game sets the stage for all kinds of ways to sell products to the American consumer, and nothing says a Super Bowl ad like star power to get the most eyeballs possible to view one of these ridiculously-expensive commercials.

Dunkin’ (formerly known as Dunkin’ Donuts and the American doppelganger of Canada’s beloved Tim Hortons) is now piggybacking on Casey Affleck and Ben Affleck’s love for the Boston-born donut/coffee chain as the duo appears in a new cheeky spot that brings “Succession” actor Jeremy Strong and fellow Bostonian into the fold.

In the spot (See below), they attempt to harness the method actor’s skills to hilarious results as he’s undoubtedly channeling “Tropic Thunder” levels of actor insanity with his “bean method” while playing a cup of coffee.

This continues an ongoing joke of The Affleck Brothers doing their part to help promote the chain as Casey previously did an over-the-top Dunkin’ parody sketch on “Saturday Night Live” as a caricature of a regular customer from Boston and Ben (often photographed by paparazzi with a Dunkin’ order in hand) infamously did a previous Super Bowl ad working the drive-thru that had his former wife Jennifer Lopez briefly cameo and another one with young hip-hop sensation Ice Spice to highlight Munchkins.

If you’re curious about how much money is being thrown around during the Super Bowl, reports from outlets like USA Today claim a 30-second spot this Sunday could cost roughly between $7-8 million.

The massive sports event is also when movie studios like to do their big promotional push for summer blockbusters such as The Fantastic Four: First Steps and “Jurassic World: Rebirth” among other films are expected to get their own airtime alongside the anticipated cornucopia of wacky ads.
