R-Rated ‘Funny People’ Trailer; Film Is 2 Hours 26 Min?

Call us crazy, but we think this looks pretty funny. Still looking forward to this one a lot. Judd Apatow recently told MTV that “Funny People” is “two minutes shorter than ‘Transformers 2,’ but the extra fifteen minutes is free.” He’s probably joking, but “Revenge of The Fallen” was 148 minutes long meaning “Funny People” would be 146 minutes, which is 2.4 hours (or 2 hour and twenty six minutes) which actually seems to match what he said earlier this spring about the film’s two-hours-plus length. We’ll see. The RZA as Seth Rogen’s work buddy seems to be some pretty inspired casting. The Wilco song from Summerteeth (“Nothingsevergonnastandinmyway [again]”) is a strong choice given its melancholy undertones. As we noted earlier this year, “Funny People,” actor Jason Schwartzman has written the film’s score some of which you can hear on the official site.
